Peter Langberg (Dinamarca)
Peter Langberg (n. 1945) estudou órgão, piano, educação musical, direção coral e cravo no Real Conservatório Dinamarquês de Música, em Copenhaga. Prosseguiu os seus estudos de órgão com Gaston Litaize, em Paris, entre 1969 e 1970, e estudou carrilhão na Escola Francesa de Carrilhão, em Douai, com Jacques Lannoy, tendo-se diplomado em 1981 com a “Médaille d’Or”. É membro honorário da GCNA, antigo presidente e membro honorário da Guilda Dinamarquesa de Carrilhanistas e da NSCK, bem como antigo vice-presidente da WCF. Foi professor de órgão no Real Conservatório Dinamarquês de Música, em Copenhaga, e docente de órgão no Instituto para Cegos. Em 1979, Peter Langberg fundou a Escola de Música Sacra de Løgumkloster, que integra a Escola Escandinava de Carrilhão, da qual foi diretor durante 30 anos, até 2009. Atualmente, é professor de Teoria Musical, piano, órgão e carrilhão. É carrilhanista municipal do carrilhão Rei Frederico IX, em Løgumkloster, e carrilhanista da Igreja de Grindsted. Tem realizado numerosos concertos de órgão e carrilhão em vários países europeus, bem como 35 digressões de concertos nos Estados Unidos da América. É autor de composições para coro, órgão solo, duo de órgão, carrilhão, voz e piano, e viola. A 8 de janeiro de 2007, foi agraciado pela rainha Margarida II da Dinamarca com o grau de Cavaleiro da Ordem de Dannebrog.
Peter Langberg (b 1945) has studied organ, piano, music education, choir directing and harpsichord from The Royal Danish Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen. He continued studying the organ with Gaston Litaize in Paris from 1969 to 1970, and carillon playing at The French Carillon School in Douai, with Jacques Lannoy, graduating in 1981 with "Medaille d'Or". He is an honorary member of the GCNA, past president and honorary member of the Danish Guild of Carillonneurs and the NSCK, and past Vice-President of WCF. He is a former teacher in organ playing at The Royal Danish Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen, and Docent in organ playing at The Institute for Blind. In 1979, Peter Langberg founded The School of Church Music in Løgumkloster, including the Scandinavian Carillon School, for which he was the director during 30 years until 2009, and he is now teacher in Music Theory, piano, organ and carillon playing. He is the city carillonist at King Frederick IX carillon in Løgumkloster, and carillonneur in Grindsted Church. He has played numerous organ- and carillon concerts in European countries, and he has made 35 concert tours in USA. He has written compositions for choir, organ solo, organ duet, carillon, piano voice and viola. He became knighted by the Danish Queen Margrethe II on January 8, 2007, as ”Ridder af Dannebrog”.
Blai Ciurana (Espanha)
Blai Ciurana i Abellí é um carrilhanista catalão freelancer e professor de piano. Estudou Ensino da Música na Escola Superior de Música da Catalunha (ESMUC). Após concluir a licenciatura, iniciou os seus estudos de carrilhão na Escola Real de Carrilhão “Jef Denyn”, em Mechelen, onde se diplomou em 2024, e na Podiumacademie, em Lier, na Bélgica, com os professores Koen Cosaert e Koen Van Asche, respetivamente. Atualmente, prossegue estudos de especialização em carrilhão na Bélgica. Blai é também campanólogo e, desde 2018, secretário da associação catalã CCCC.
Blai Ciurana i Abellí is a Catalan freelance carillonist and piano teacher. He studied music teaching at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC). After finishing his degree, Blai started to study carillon at the Royal Carillon School Jef Denyn in Mechelen (graduated in 2024) and at the Podiumacademie in Lier (B) with teachers Koen Cosaert and Koen Van Asche respectively. He is currently studying carillon specialisation in Belgium. Blai is also a campanologist and secretary of the Catalan guild CCCC since 2018.
Malgosia Fiebig (Países Baixos)
Malgosia Fiebig é carrilhanista municipal de Utrecht e Nijmegen, nos Países Baixos. Estudou na Academia de Música de Gdańsk, na Polónia, onde obteve o mestrado em Música, nas áreas de Órgão e Direção Coral. Em 1999, frequentou um curso de carrilhão orientado por Gert Oldenbeuving, após o qual se tornou carrilhanista municipal de Gdańsk. Em 2004, mudou-se para os Países Baixos e, no ano seguinte, concluiu a licenciatura em Carrilhão, tendo estudado com Arie Abbenes na Escola Neerlandesa de Carrilhão, em Amersfoort. Em junho de 2007, concluiu o mestrado em Música, sob orientação de Frans Haagen e Henk Verhoef. Venceu vários primeiros prémios em concursos internacionais de carrilhão e tem realizado concertos na Europa, nos Estados Unidos da América e na Austrália. Interpreta regularmente estreias mundiais de obras para carrilhão. As gravações das suas homenagens a David Bowie e Avicii, realizadas no carrilhão da Torre Dom, em Utrecht, tornaram-se virais e foram vistas milhões de vezes em todo o mundo. Em agosto de 2023, foi anfitriã do 21.º Congresso Mundial de Carrilhão, realizado em Utrecht.
Malgosia Fiebig is the city carillonist of Utrecht and Nijmegen (The Netherlands). She studied at the Music Academy of Gdańsk (Poland), where she earned a Master of Music in Organ Performance and Choral Conducting. In 1999, she followed a carillon course led by Gert Oldenbeuving, after which she became the city carillonist of Gdańsk. In 2004, she moved to The Netherlands, and a year later received a Bachelor of Music in Carillon Performance, studying with Arie Abbenes at the Dutch Carillon School in Amersfoort. She graduated with a Master of Music in June 2007, studying with Frans Haagen and Henk Verhoef. She has won several first prizes at international carillon competitions and has given concerts in Europe, the US, and Australia. She regularly performs world premieres of carillon compositions. Recordings of her tributes to David Bowie and Avicii, performed on the carillon of the Dom Tower in Utrecht, went viral and have been viewed millions of times worldwide. In August 2023, she was the host of the 21st World Carillon Congress in Utrecht.
