Mafra vai receber o Congresso Mundial de Carrilhão, de 24 a 28 de junho de 2026. Organizado pelo Município de Mafra, a Museus e Monumentos de Portugal, E.P.E./ Palácio Nacional de Mafra, com direção artística do carrilhanista Abel Chaves, o evento foca-se no tema da música automática, processo musical que inspirou o carrilhão moderno. 

O evento terá como foco a música automática e a conservação de carrilhões, e incluirá apresentações temáticas, workshops, visitas especializadas e concertos.

Inscrições:

O valor da inscrição, que inclui o acesso a todas as sessões, materiais do congresso,refeições (excepto durante o Dia de Lisboa) e todos os eventos sociais programados, é o seguinte:

1. Até 31 de março de 2026, inclusive, 400,00 € (quatrocentos euros).
2. A partir de 1 de abril de 2026, 450,00 € (quatrocentos e cinquenta euros).
3. Para jovens até aos 25 anos de idade, inclusive, o valor de inscrição é o seguinte:
   a) As primeiras 30 inscrições, 250,00 € (duzentos e cinquenta euros).
   b) Da 31.ª à 60.ª inscrição, 300,00 € (trezentos euros).
   c) A partir da 61.ª inscrição, 400,00 € (quatrocentos euros) ou 450,00 € (quatrocentos e cinquenta euros), mediante a data da inscrição referida acima em 1.º e 2.º.

Mafra will host the World Carillon Congress from June 24th to 28th, 2026. Organized by the Municipality of Mafra, the Museums and Monuments of Portugal, E.P.E./National Palace of Mafra, with artistic direction by carillonist Abel Chaves, the event focuses on the theme of automatic music, a musical process that inspired the modern carillon.

The event will focus on automatic music and carillon conservation, featuring thematic presentations, workshops, specialized tours, and concerts.

Registrations:

The registration fee — which includes access to all sessions, congress materials, meals (except during the Lisbon Day), and all scheduled social events — is as follows:

1. Until March 31, 2026, inclusive: €400.00 (four hundred euros).
2. From April 1, 2026: €450.00 (four hundred and fifty euros).
3. For youth up to 25 years old, inclusive:
   a) First 30 registrations: €250.00 (two hundred and fifty euros).
   b) 31st to 60th registration: €300.00 (three hundred euros).
   c) From the 61st registration onwards: €400.00 or €450.00, depending on the dates mentioned in items 1 and 2.
