A typical recipe from the Ribatejo region, but faithfully reproduced on the mainland and on the islands, this dish reflects the inventiveness of traditional Portuguese cuisine, a result of traditions as well as the needs of other times. The result: you either love it or hate it. 

We are talking about what for many are the best parts of the pig: knuckles, feet, trotters. For preparing it, onion, garlic, coriander sauce, olive oil, flour, vinegar, salt and Mafra bread for frying are used.
